Radiology Technologist - Imaging - PRN Glendive Medical Center | Glendive, MT | PRN (As Needed) |
Starting Pay:
$29.78+/hour (based on experience and internal equity) Flexible Imaging Opportunity in Rural Healthcare Glendive Medical Center is looking for a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is ideal for imaging professionals seeking schedule flexibility while staying active in a hospital environment that serves a diverse patient population. You'll play an important role in helping providers diagnose and treat patients by delivering accurate, high-quality imaging services in a safe and patient-focused setting. What You'll Be Doing Perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations Prepare patients for imaging procedures and answer questions about the exam process Position patients appropriately to obtain diagnostic-quality images Operate imaging equipment according to department protocols Follow radiation safety practices and infection prevention standards Administer contrast agents when required and within scope of practice Upload, verify, and maintain images within PACS Assist radiologists and providers during imaging procedures as needed Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance concerns Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals Qualifications Required ARRT certification Montana Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license Current BLS certification Preferred Previous experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and anatomy Ability to work independently and prioritize patient needs Excellent communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and commitment to image quality Ability to respond to on-call assignments within required timeframes Schedule PRN position with variable hours based on department needs Day shifts typically scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM Participation in on-call rotation required Minimum commitment of one shift every three months to maintain PRN status PRN Benefits 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Flexible scheduling Opportunity to maintain and expand imaging experience in a hospital setting Why Join GMC?
