This contract position calls for a skilled and compassionate professional, ready to deliver exceptional patient care and technical excellence in a busy imaging department.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active RN licensure in good standing Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Interventional Radiology Proficiency with imaging equipment and IR procedures Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary care team Experience in patient monitoring, procedural sedation, and post-procedural careResponsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients scheduled for interventional radiology procedures Assist physicians and technologists during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions Monitor and document patients' clinical status throughout procedures and recovery Administer medications and IV contrast as ordered Prepare procedural rooms and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available Educate patients and families regarding procedure expectations and post-procedure care Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards and safety protocols Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies This position offers exposure to cutting-edge IR procedures, an engaging clinical setting, and opportunities to broaden your advanced practice skills.
