Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted RN license Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology procedures Strong background in imaging and interventional radiology nursing BLS and ACLS certification required Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environments Excellent intrapersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Detailed knowledge of sterile technique, patient sedation, and emergency protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after interventional procedures Monitor patient status, administer medications as needed, and manage patient recovery Safeguard sterile field and oversee procedural set-up and breakdown Educate patients and families on procedures, expected outcomes, and post-procedural care Respond to emergencies following hospital protocols and best nursing practices Maintain thorough documentation and uphold patient privacy standards
