Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Take the next step in your imaging career by joining a dynamic medical team committed to high-quality patient care and advanced clinical practices. This MRI Technologist contract opportunity offers immediate placement with a 13-week assignment in a collaborative imaging department equipped with GE technology and using Cerner EMR.
Schedule/Hours:
Shifts available between 7:00am-10:30pm Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm Saturday-Sunday Rotating weekends
Qualifications & Experience:
Current MRI registration required Strong proficiency in performing MRI procedures with and without contrast Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred Breast MRI experience considered an asset Ability to adapt quickly and collaborate effectively with a skilled multidisciplinary team
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI scans, both contrast and non-contrast, following established protocols Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process Accurately document procedures and patient information in Cerner EMR Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed Communicate clearly with patients and clinical staff, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills Adhere to infection prevention and safety guidelines, as well as facility dress code (black scrubs) Participate in a rotating weekend schedule and be flexible for varying shift hours
