Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a vital role utilizing your expertise in MRI as part of a dynamic imaging team. This contract opportunity offers a 12-hour day shift schedule—Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm—designed to balance your work and personal commitments. Your first two weeks will feature onboarding Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, for thorough training and department integration.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid and current certification as an MRI Technologist Proven track record in MRI imaging, with the ability to perform high-quality scans independently Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols and best practices Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working within multidisciplinary teams Ability and willingness to assist with safe patient transfers and department needs Experience with X-rays is a plus, though not required
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients with a focus on safety, accuracy, and comfort Adhere strictly to all procedural and safety standards Collaborate with physicians and radiologists for optimal patient outcomes Assist with basic patient lifting and mobility within the department if available Float to X-ray duties only if you have prior experience and are comfortable Maintain a clean and orderly imaging suite, ensuring equipment is well-calibrated
