Schedule/Hours:
Travel contract assignment; specific schedule provided upon interview.
Key Qualifications:
ARRT certification required. Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Expertise in General Diagnostic Radiology and X-ray techniques. Competency in using PACS, RIS, and other imaging management systems. Commitment to maintaining Active Status credentials.
Responsibilities:
Perform quality radiographic imaging, consistently producing optimal results. Ensure accuracy of patient demographics and examination requests. Critique, orient, save, and transmit images to PACS, maintaining thorough QA procedures. Collaborate in troubleshooting equipment and protocol challenges. Guide and mentor colleagues and students, sharing expertise. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Document and advise on any workflow incidents or improvement opportunities. Verify patient identity, obtain relevant medical histories, and ensure patient safetyincluding pregnancy status checks before radiation exposure. Assess patient condition to determine and arrange supporting resources as needed. Respond promptly to emergency situations.
