Required Qualifications:
Active certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT). State licensure for X-ray Technology in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain). Solid knowledge of digital and traditional X-ray imaging procedures. Minimum of one year experience in an acute care or clinical imaging setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt and perform efficiently in varied clinical circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and safety guidelines. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout imaging procedures. Accurately document and maintain patient records and radiology logs. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide high-quality diagnostic support. Adhere to all hospital, state, and federal regulations regarding radiation safety and infection control.
