Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care using advanced MRI technology in a dynamic imaging department. This contract opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in MRI as part of a collaborative team devoted to high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Schedule/Hours:
8-hour day shifts, 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent required Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum of one year recent MRI experience preferred Strong technical skills in MRI operation and safety protocols Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic scans following physician orders and established protocols Ensure patient comfort and safety prior to, during, and following procedures Accurately position patients and select imaging parameters to achieve optimal diagnostic images Recognize and report any unusual findings or changes in patient condition to radiologists and supervising staff Maintain precise imaging records and documentation within patient charts Participate in an equitable on-call rotation, with call responsibilities shared among all team members Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to promote efficient workflow and quality patient outcomes Provide support during holiday coverage as scheduled unless approved for time off in advance Enjoy working in a supportive environment with weekday shifts and no weekend or floating requirements.
