Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Direct Hire Excellent permanent opportunities are now available for three full-time Mammography Technologists to join a growing healthcare provider in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role offers a stable Monday-Friday workweek, comprehensive training for those looking to expand their experience, and a vibrant community in which to live and work. Candidates with expertise in both screening and diagnostic mammography are especially encouraged to apply, though specialized training is available for technologists experienced in only one area.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8-hour shifts
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography Current mammography certification and credentials required Experience in both screening and diagnostic mammography is highly preferred, but not required Technologists with experience in only screening or diagnostic mammography may be considered and trained accordingly Strong communication and patient care skills are essential Candidates with additional experience in breast ultrasound are highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms according to established clinical protocols Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures Accurately document and manage patient records Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff for optimal patient care Remain current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing training as required You'll be based in Greensboro, a growing city with an affordable cost of living, a lively downtown, diverse recreational options, and easy access to both the mountains and coast.
