Qualifications/Experience:
Valid ARRT (CT) certification required State licensure (NC) in Radiologic Technology, or eligibility to obtain Minimum of 1 year recent experience in CT imaging within a hospital or healthcare facility Familiarity with multi-slice CT scanners and cross-sectional anatomy Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Core Responsibilities:
Operate CT imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with an emphasis on safety and comfort Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostic results Perform quality control and routine maintenance checks on imaging equipment Document procedures and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout the imaging process
