Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) PMC is a recognized healthcare provider in the communities of Moore County, Lee County, Cumberland County, Chatham County, and the surrounding six counties. PMC consists of over 130 providers, approximately 750 employees, and 16 locations. What will you do as a PMC CT Tech The CT Technologist is responsible for imaging anatomical information form a cross-sectional plane of the body, with each image generated by a computer synthesis of X-ray transmission data obtained in many different directions in a given plane. The CT Tech is also responsible for obtaining the patients' medical history, explaining standard procedures and addressing patient concerns. A day in the life of a PMC CT Tech may include: Positioning patients for CT exam Explaining the procedure and obtaining patient consent Starts IV's and injecting contrast and dispensing oral contrast if needed. Evaluates CT images for technical quality. Prepares images for transmission to PACS, so radiologist can interpret the scans. Assist Radiologist with questions they may have regarding
MIPS, 3D
images, and reconstructions. Prepares CT orders, EMR notes, and checks lab values Order and charge entry for procedures Loading and operating power injectors for IV contrast media administration Performs other duties as assigned. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a CT Tech preferred

Day Shift (Monday through Friday) no weekends or holidays
