• MRI Technologist Trainee
• at our
• Raleigh & Chapel Hill
• locations. This is a full time position. The
• Technologist Trainee
• learns the safety, customer service skills, documentation and operation of Radiology through on-the job training under the direction of a registered technologist.
• Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• + Conducts pre-screening of all personnel before entering the magnet room to ensure their safety.

+ Scans and documents patients under the direction of a registered technologist to meet all customer (if applicable) and Akumin requirements.

+ Completes necessary documentation for patient files to ensure all customer, Akumin policy and Joint Commission requirements are met.

+ Other job duties as needed.

• Position Requirements:
• + High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

+ Successful completion of a Radiology School.

+ Certificate from College or Technical School.

+ Certified by ARRT, ARMRIT, NMTCB or ARDMS.

+ Continuing education of the structure component to the Radiology exam.

+ State issued Radiologic Technologist License, if applicable.

+ CPR certification.

+ Valid state driver's license, if applicable.

+ Ability to work at several locations.

+ Strong customer service skills.

+ Organizational and multi-tasking skills. + 5% Travel may be required.

• Preferred:
• + Associate's Degree.

+ Certificate from College or Technical School.

+ Completion of a Radiology Program.

+ Successfully demonstrate proficiency running advanced Radiology studies independently

+ Technical proficiency using diagnostic imaging equipment
