This position performs CT imaging procedures while providing quality patient care, maintaining imaging and safety standards, and ensuring accurate, high-quality scans.COMPENSATION

Full-Time Monday-Thursday 3:00 PM-1:30 AM Onsite in Rutherfordton, NC 28139 Travel not requiredPOSITION OVERVIEW
The CT Technologist reviews patient histories and physician orders, prepares and educates patients for procedures, performs CT imaging, administers contrast media and medications within scope of practice when ordered, monitors patient condition, evaluates image quality, and maintains equipment and safety standards. ROLE- Review patient history and physician orders prior to imaging procedures.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to promote understanding and cooperation.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
- Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes.
- Prepare imaging equipment and supplies.
- Implement safety standards and perform quality-control checks.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions.
- Position patients and perform CT imaging procedures.
- Analyze imaging results and identify quality issues.
- Take corrective action when necessary, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
- Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed.
Requirements:
Requirements- Associate's Degree
REQUIRED
- ARRT certification
REQUIRED
- CT certification OR ability to obtain CT certification within one year of hire or transfer into the position
REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
REQUIRED
- Ability to work Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:30 AM
REQUIRED
- Ability to work onsite in Rutherfordton, NC
