Job Posting Lead Rad Tech - Diagnostic Imaging Full-Time (40 hours weekly) We seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead X-ray Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in X-ray technology and a proven track record of leadership in a medical imaging setting. This individual will oversee the day-today operations of the X-ray department, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and providing exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology ARRT certification in Radiography and a second modality certification is required - Minimum of five years of experience as an X-ray technologist, with progressive leadership responsibilities. - Strong knowledge of X-ray imaging techniques, equipment operation, and quality assurance principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Functions of the Position (not an exhaustive list): Perform all forms of X-ray procedures according to physician orders and department protocols. Supervise and coordinate the activities of X-ray technologists, including scheduling, training and performance management Ensure compliance with safety regulations and radiation protection protocols Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues, coordinating with the appropriate resources for repairs and maintenance. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate image interpretation and patient care. Provide mentorship and support to staff members, fostering a positive work environment and professional growth Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in X-ray imaging
