How You'll Contribute:
Verifies physician orders, clarifies discrepancies with Radiologist/ordering provider, and ensures exam accuracy Identifies patients using two identifiers, explains procedures, and prepares/document patients appropriately Collects and reviews complete medical histories from EMRs; correlates clinical data with ordered exams Manages exams end-to-end, including IV contrast preparation/administration per protocol Evaluates image quality, identifies abnormalities, and consults Radiologist for adjustments or additional imaging Performs CT scans and supports invasive procedures using sterile technique and infection control standards Delivers patient care and safety oversight, including radiation safety, emergency response (e.g., code blue), and equipment/compliance management
What We Are Looking For:
Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology. ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required. BLS required.
