Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical imaging and demonstrate proficiency in various radiologic procedures. This role is essential in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Duties Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, C-ARM machine, CT scans, PET scans, and DEXA scans, adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Conduct mammography and sonography as required, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret medical terminology and assist in diagnostic evaluations. Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure precise imaging results. Provide care in urgent care settings and emergency rooms, demonstrating expertise in emergency medicine practices. Work effectively within a Level I or Level II trauma center environment, responding swiftly to critical situations. Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and participate in ongoing professional development. Experience Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following: Nuclear medicine techniques and applications. Emergency room experience, particularly in fast-paced settings. Proficiency in medical imaging technologies including C-ARM machine, CT, PET scan, mammography, DEXA scan, and X-ray. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to radiology practices. Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes and patient care protocols within a trauma center context.
