Pay:

$33-$36/hour, depending on experience and qualifications Job Summary We are seeking a qualified Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Rad/CT Technologist) to perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations while providing safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care. The technologist will be responsible for patient positioning, image acquisition, radiation safety, quality control, equipment operation, and accurate documentation. Responsibilities Perform routine, complex, and nonstandard X-ray examinations. Perform CT examinations according to established protocols and standards. Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. Explain procedures and provide appropriate patient assistance throughout examinations. Select appropriate technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments to positioning and exposure techniques. Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology during diagnostic examinations. Follow radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self. Perform required quality control procedures for radiography and CT. Transfer, edit, and annotate images using PACS and related radiology systems. Maintain accurate patient, examination, and technical records. Monitor patient vital signs and recognize changes requiring appropriate intervention or notification. Exercise sound clinical judgment when adapting procedures for nonstandard patients or examinations. Troubleshoot PACS, imaging equipment, and related technology as needed. Maintain required training and competency for assigned imaging modalities. Assist with daily radiology department operations and maintain adequate supplies. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to department improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist. Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT). Minimum 2 years of experience as an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist. Minimum 2 years of CT experience following CT certification. Demonstrated competency in general radiography and CT. Knowledge of radiographic and CT procedures, positioning, exposure techniques, anatomy, and radiation safety. Knowledge of image quality standards and quality control procedures. Experience with PACS and radiology information technology systems. Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and technical issues. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Education Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.

Pay:

$33.00 - $36.00 per hour
