At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a multi-modality tech in radiography and Cat Scan to join our team. The primary responsibility of the multi-modality is: Prep and screen patients appropriately for imaging procedures.

Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.

Explain and perform radiologic procedures with consideration to the level of understanding and age appropriateness of the patient.

Able to assess patient pain by interfering with imaging procedures, makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.

Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/ healthcare errors. An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists — Currently Registered — Radiography, and CT

A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.

Current compliance with continuing education credit requirements

Current BCLS certification

2 years experience preferred Willing to train single modality techs to hold at least a minimum of ARRT (R) (CT). —
