Qualifications:
12 years of PET/CT experience required Active NH Rad/CT Tech License Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT or NMTCB) BLS certification preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to adapt to both outpatient, mobile, and inpatient care environments
Responsibilities:
Ensure patient safety and comfort, including screening for contraindications, aseptic technique, and radiation safety compliance Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images Communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, and clinical staff Train and mentor new technologists and patient coordinators Troubleshoot scanners, mobile units, monitors, PACS, and associated equipment Accurately document procedures per regulations, especially when handling radioactive materials
