Job Description
Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare setting where your specialized imaging skills can make a significant impact on patient care. This contract opportunity seeks a knowledgeable professional experienced in both CT and CT/PET technologies to deliver accurate and compassionate diagnostic services. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in medical imaging, supporting the diagnosis and treatment of diverse medical conditions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required; CT/PET experience highly desired Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CT or CT/PET technologist Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging procedures Excellent communication and patient care skillsSchedule/Hours:
Flexible shifts may be required, including occasional weekends or evening hoursKey Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with a variety of CT and PET/CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Ensure high-quality images are produced for accurate patient diagnosis Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging exams, providing clear instructions and reassurance Operate sophisticated imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines Document procedures, patient information, and maintain accurate records within electronic systems Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient careBenefits:
