Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technician to join our team in the fertility industry. We are looking for someone to learn to perform HSGs. A hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is a diagnostic X-ray procedure to examine the inside of the uterus, and fallopian tubes, typically to investigate infertility, recurrent miscarriages, or to check for tubal blockages. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in a clinical setting. Your primary focus will be on ensuring radiation safety and minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff. You will also be responsible for producing high-quality radiography images and maintaining accurate patient records. Your role will be critical in providing quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Radiology or related field Fluoroscopy experience Valid certification in Radiology Technology Knowledge of radiation safety procedures Experience working in a clinical setting Basic computer knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Radiology or related field Experience with advanced imaging techniques Experience with PACS and RIS systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in a clinical setting Ensure radiation safety and minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff Produce high-quality radiography images Maintain accurate patient records Provide quality patient care
Skills:
As a Radiology Technician, you will utilize your skills in X-Ray, Clinical Setting, Radiation Safety, Radiation Exposure, Radiography, and Basic Computer Knowledge on a daily basis. You will work closely with patients and medical staff to ensure quality patient care. Your attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality radiography images will be critical in accurately diagnosing and treating patients. Additionally, your knowledge of radiation safety procedures will ensure the safety of patients and staff. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will also be utilized in effectively communicating with patients and medical staff.
