Job Description
CT Technologist CT Technologist Position Summary Technologist conducts routine tests used in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Primary Position Responsibilities 1. Perform MRI/CT procedures at a tech level in accordance with protocols while also maintaining proper quality of control procedures and documenting work processes as required. 2. Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to MRI/CT exams and equipment, concepts, standards, procedures and equipment. 3. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. 4. Must be able to work extended hours when necessary. 5. Must be able to perform all MRI/CT safety measures as directed by ACR, as well as maintain a safe and appropriate work environment as well as maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. 6. Knowledge of basic patient care and activities may be necessary during exam. 7. Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested. Must work as a team member within the imaging department and all departments as well as perform other duties as assigned.
