CT Technologist Experience Required | Minimum 6 Months Preferred About the Role We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist (CT Tech) for a contract opportunity in Hackensack, New Jersey. The technologist will perform routine and complex CT examinations while producing high-quality sectional and 3D diagnostic images. Responsibilities Perform routine and complex CT examinations, including patient preparation, positioning, image acquisition, and 3D imaging according to established protocols. Review patient history, imaging orders, and CT protocols and coordinate with radiologists or referring physicians when clarification is required. Administer contrast media, perform venipuncture, establish and maintain IV access, and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Review completed examinations through PACS for proper patient identification, diagnostic quality, and image completeness while maintaining accurate documentation. Operate CT equipment safely, provide appropriate patient instructions, and participate in required holiday, weekend, overtime, and on-call coverage. Requirements Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program Required; High School Diploma or GED Required. Active New Jersey DEP Diagnostic Radiography License Required. Current ARRT Radiography R.T.(R) Certification Required;

(CT) Certification Preferred and Expected Within 12 Months If Not Already Certified. Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Required. CT Technologist Experience Required, Including CT Equipment, PACS, Contrast Administration, Venipuncture, and IV Procedures; Epic and HIS/RIS Experience Preferred. The CT Technologist will provide accurate, efficient, and patient-centered diagnostic imaging while maintaining high standards of image quality, radiation safety, and clinical care.
