As a Mammography Technologist , you will play a critical role in performing high-quality diagnostic and screening breast imaging examinations while ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their experience. A typical day for a Mammography Technologist may include: Produces optimum quality films with proper positioning and technique following ACR guidelines Assumes responsibility for obtaining and maintaining appropriate number of credits for MQSA and ARRT. Attends any mandatory education. Follows all policies and procedures of the ACC Breast Center Preforms exams to ensure patient comfort and safety Reviews patient history ensuring it is entered correctly, making changes as needed and completing exam in Epic. May perform other duties as assigned or directed by management.
