Radiologic Technologist - RWJBarnabas Health A typical day for a Radiologic Technologist may include: Performing diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians.
Operating diagnostic, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Positioning patients properly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Ensuring patient comfort while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Following radiation safety protocols and maintaining compliance with hospital policies.
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to support quality patient care.
Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining imaging records. This role might be for you if: You are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration preferred.
RT certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 5 years of experience preferred.
