Job Description
MRI Technologist & X-Ray Technologist / Radiologic Technologist (Part-Time | 3-4 Days Per Week) We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our growing musculoskeletal and orthopedic practice in Northern New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technologist who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient environment alongside orthopedic, pain management, and sports medicine specialists. Schedule Part-time 3 or 4 days per week Flexible weekday schedule No nights, weekends, or major holidays Responsibilities Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician protocols. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging process. Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications. Maintain accurate documentation and image quality standards. Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care. Perform routine quality control and assist in maintaining MRI equipment and supplies. Adhere to all safety, infection control, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program. ARRT certification required. MRI certification (ARRT MR) preferred. Current New Jersey licensure (or eligibility). BLS certification required. Minimum of 2 years of Radiologic Technology/ MRI experience preferred. Orthopedic or musculoskeletal imaging experience is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills. What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
