As an X-ray Technologist, you'll play a key role in supporting patient care and ensuring accurate image capture for effective treatment decisions. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality radiological services while working alongside a dedicated medical team.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist Proven expertise in operating X-ray equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures Familiarity with maintaining radiation safety standards for patients and staff Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients, physicians, and colleagues Ability to assess patient needs, explain procedures, and provide excellent patient careResponsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by healthcare providers Prepare exam rooms and ensure imaging equipment is properly calibrated and maintained Accurately position patients to obtain optimal image quality while prioritizing their comfort and safety Maintain detailed and accurate records of procedures and patient interactions Adhere to HIPAA requirements and all facility protocols for infection control and safety Work efficiently within a team environment to coordinate care and facilitate the patient experienceWhat You'll Enjoy:
