Overview •$10,000 Sign-on Bonus Now Being Offered to Eligible New Hires!•University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year. Responsibilities University Radiology is looking for a Full-Time Lead X-Ray/Dexa/Mammograpy Technologist for our Tinton Falls , NJ Imaging Office to work Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm The Lead Technologist is responsible ensuring the staff produces high-quality images and successful completion of exams. In addition, the Lead Technologist will serve as an internal imaging expert for the center and create a positive patient and customer experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Fulfills all the requirements of a Staff Technologist Liaison between radiologists, clinical staff and management Provide exceptional customer service handling patient communication appropriately Responsible for ensuring effective communication with vendors and service personnel Keeps up to date with established departmental policies and procedures including informing the staff in your modality. Assist in obtaining
ACR/MQSA
certification for Mammo. Participates in quality assurance activities completing all required documentation for the continuous improvement of patient care Assists with the maintenance of supplies and equipment. Notifies team members regarding equipment downtime Responsible for all quality control testing as established by the manufacturer and Radiation Safety Officer Work schedule may change requiring evening or weekend shift based on staffing, volume and unexpected issues Responsible for taking calls from the staff when they need call out or come in late to work Provides feedback to management and may be required to complete employee performance evaluations. Performs additional duties as required Responsible for technologist EQUIP •May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols. Pay Range:
From $46/Hour The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 - 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs . Join our growing team!
