A Radiologic Technician or Technologist operates X Ray, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) or CT (Computed Tomography) scan equipment to take diagnostic images of a patient. Works with doctors to obtain specific images necessary for medical diagnosis.

The Multimodality Tech is a Radiology Tech who is trained, qualified and competent in at least two of the below disciplines. The technologist is expected to work in any area for which they are qualified based on the operational needs of the department.
- General Diagnostic Radiology
- CT•MRI•Mammography•Interventional Radiology•Ultrasound•
Nuclear Medicine/PET Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
One-year experience in Interventional procedures.Licenses and Certifications Required:
NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R). Registration with the ARRT- one or more of the following modalities: MRI (or ARMRIT), CT, Xray, IR, or Mammography.
