Job Description

Job Title:
Acute Multi-Modality Technologist Job Summary:
Performs diagnostic imaging examinations across multiple imaging modalities for acute-care and hospitalized patients. Operates imaging equipment, follows established protocols, and ensures high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Education & Experience:
Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology or a related imaging field required. 1-2 years of acute-care or hospital-based imaging experience preferred. Experience working with multiple imaging modalities is preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
ARRT certification required. State radiologic technologist license required where applicable. Modality-specific certification(s) preferred based on assigned responsibilities. BLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations across assigned modalities according to physician orders and established protocols. Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures. Operate and adjust imaging equipment to obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images. Screen patients for relevant safety considerations and identify contraindications before procedures. Administer contrast agents when required and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Maintain appropriate infection control, patient privacy, safety, and imaging standards. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals and maintain accurate examination documentation. #Workwolf
