About Orthopaedic Institute of Henderson Orthopaedic Institute of Henderson is a physician-owned orthopedic practice serving Henderson and the surrounding Las Vegas valley. We are looking for a licensed X-Ray Technologist who is accurate, efficient, and comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Position Summary The X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures with an emphasis on orthopedic imaging. This role works closely with physicians, physician assistants, and medical assistants to produce high-quality images, maintain radiation safety standards, and keep clinic flow on schedule. Schedule Monday-Friday, clinic hours. No nights, no weekends, no on-call. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographs as ordered by the physician, including orthopedic, weight-bearing, post-operative, and limited-mobility studies Position patients safely and accurately to obtain diagnostic-quality images Operate digital radiography equipment and manage images Follow ALARA principles and all applicable state and federal radiation safety requirements Verify patient identity, laterality, and exam orders before exposure Maintain imaging rooms, equipment readiness, and required quality-control documentation Communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and clinical staff Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA Support the clinical team with related duties as assigned Required Qualifications Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) Current Nevada Radiologic Technologist license Minimum of 1 year of clinical radiography experience Ability to work on-site in Henderson, NV, Monday through Friday Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-focused manner Preferred Qualifications Orthopedic or high-volume outpatient clinic experience Experience with weight-bearing and post-operative orthopedic views Familiarity with clinic workflow in a multi-provider practice Physical Requirements This position requires standing and walking for most of the shift, assisting with patient positioning and transfers, and the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
