Position Overview:
As a CT Technologist with FSN, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures, including scans of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities, adhering to established diagnostic and interventional protocols. Safely administer intravenous contrast media, screening patients for contraindications, and vigilantly monitoring for adverse reactions during and after procedures. Optimize image quality through precise patient positioning, selecting appropriate techniques, and utilizing post-processing reconstruction methods. Implement radiation safety principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly, perform quality control testing, and document any equipment issues or discrepancies. Collaborate with radiologists to adjust protocols and provide STAT reads when needed. Follow all safety and infection control policies to ensure a secure and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related healthcare field. Minimum of 1 year of clinical CT imaging experience. Current ARRT (RT) certification; ARRT CT certification is preferred or eligible. Valid state radiologic technologist license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency in performing complex imaging procedures with a thorough understanding of relevant protocols. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Shift Details:
Wednesday and Thursday:
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Friday through
Sunday:
10:30 PM - 6:30 AM Weekend commitment required every weekend
