Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. In this role, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce detailed images of patients' internal structures, supporting accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of radiologic procedures, patient safety protocols, and medical imaging technology. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Responsibilities Operate MRI scanners with precision, ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic evaluation Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and addressing any concerns Perform additional diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT scans, DEXA scans (dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry), sonography, and vascular access as needed Maintain strict adherence to equipment safety procedures and infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques Ensure patient safety by monitoring vital signs, applying proper immobilization techniques, and adhering to patient safety regulations Assist in acquiring images for other modalities like radiology and physiology assessments to support comprehensive diagnostic evaluations Manage Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for storing, retrieving, and sharing medical images securely Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical data in compliance with healthcare standards Conduct routine equipment safety checks and perform troubleshooting or report malfunctions promptly Collaborate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team members to facilitate accurate diagnosis Qualifications Proven experience operating MRI scanners along with proficiency in
