Albany, New York Setting:
Mobile imaging; skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centres, and patients' homes
Job Type:

Independent Role Primary Responsibilities:
Perform portable diagnostic X-rays based on physician orders Operate and transport mobile imaging equipment Verify patient identity and exam details Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols Document exams and transmit images for radiologist interpretation Communicate with patients, nursing staff, and facility personnel Maintain equipment and report any service issues Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
Requirements:
Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License ARRT certification required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques Comfortable working independently and managing a field-based schedule Strong communication and interpersonal skills Mobile/portable imaging experience preferred, but not required Independent and self-motivated Professional and patient-focused Comfortable travelling between different patient/facility locations Able to manage time effectively without constant supervision Strong in portable X-ray procedures and patient interaction.
