Radiologic Technologist Level III (In addition to X-Ray, candidate must also have another modality in CT, MRI or Mammography) Full-Time | Evening Shifts 11:00a-7:00p (8 hour shifts) | Rotating Weekends & Holidays | Elmhurst, NY Make a Difference in One of New York City's Most Diverse Communities Join the imaging team at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Elmhurst (Queens NY) , where every day brings the opportunity to care for a culturally diverse patient population in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We're seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist Level III who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and expanding their clinical expertise across multiple imaging modalities. If you're a highly skilled technologist with experience in general diagnostic radiography and an additional advanced imaging modality, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care. Utilize advanced imaging expertise in one additional modality : Computed Tomography (CT) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Mammography Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to departmental protocols. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment. Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures within the electronic medical record.
Qualifications Required:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) . Certification and postgraduate experience in at least one advanced imaging modality: CT, MRI, or Mammography . New York State Radiologic Technologist License. Current BLS certification.
