Flexible travel-based schedule (specifics to be discussed upon assignment)Qualifications & Experience Sought:
CT certification and hands-on PET/CT experience required Current ARRT - CT andNMTCB - CT
credentials Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the ARRT Active New York State License and BLS (American Heart Association) Minimum of 2 years of relevant imaging experience Preferred (not required): GE PET or Philips PET scanner knowledgeCore Responsibilities:
Review patient history and interpret physician orders to deliver patient-centered care Educate and prepare patients to ensure understanding and cooperation during procedures Perform and analyze imaging procedures with age and ability-specific modifications Provide exemplary nuclear medicine imaging and therapy while maintaining regulatory compliance Troubleshoot image quality, repeat procedures as necessary, and manage radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any changes Maintain organized inventory and ensure readiness of Clinical Nuclear Medicine roomsOutstanding Travel & Career Benefits:
