Position Overview The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammograms in accordance with MQSA, ACR, FDA, and New York State regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations Positioning patients accurately to ensure optimal image quality Ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout the exam Operating and maintaining mammography equipment Performing required quality assurance testing and documentation Maintaining compliance with MQSA, ACR, and state regulations Reviewing images for technical quality and proper identification Maintaining accurate patient documentation and HIPAA compliance Collaborating with radiologists and clinical staff to support diagnostic accuracy This role emphasizes technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and compassionate patient care.
