Whether you're already experienced in Mammography or you're a Radiologic Technologist interested in learning, we'd love to hear from you. St. Joseph's Imaging Associates is looking for a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist to join our team at our Clay, NY location. Mammography experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to train a Radiologic Technologist who is interested in expanding their skills into Mammography. Why Join Our Clay Team? Consistent daytime hours No nights No weekends No major holidays No call Predictable outpatient schedule Supportive, experienced imaging team Mammography training available Employer-supported continuing education Opportunities to grow your skills Position Overview Depending on your experience and credentials, this position may include diagnostic X-ray, Mammography, or a combination of both.
Responsibilities include:
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations according to established protocols Prepare and position patients for exams Explain procedures and help ensure a positive patient experience Produce high-quality diagnostic images Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently Follow ALARA radiation safety standards Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality Work closely with radiologists and other members of the imaging team Participate in Mammography training and clinical experience, if applicable Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT registered in Radiography or registry eligible Registry-eligible candidates must obtain certification within six months of hire Current or eligible for New York State Radiologic Technologist licensure BLS certification required within 90 days of hire 1-3 years of experience preferred Outpatient imaging experience is a plus Mammography experience or certification is preferred, but not required Schedule & Compensation Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem opportunities available Competitive compensation based on experience and credentials Daytime outpatient schedule No nights, weekends, major holidays, or call Interested in Mammography but don't have experience?
