This is a Radiologic Technologist position first and foremost. Mammography training is completely optional. Candidates who are interested in expanding their skills into breast imaging will have the opportunity to cross-train in Mammography, but there is no expectation or requirement to pursue Mammography as part of this position. Position Overview As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with ARRT standards, New York State regulations, and organizational protocols.

Your responsibilities will include:

Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures Prepare and educate patients prior to examinations Position patients accurately to obtain diagnostic-quality images Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently Review images for quality and proper patient identification Maintain ALARA radiation safety standards Complete required documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance Collaborate with radiologists and other members of the imaging team For those interested, participate in Mammography cross-training and clinical experience Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT registration in Radiography or registry eligible Registry-eligible candidates must obtain certification within six months of hire Current or eligible New York State radiologic technologist license BLS certification required within 90 days of hire 1-3 years of experience preferred Outpatient imaging experience preferred No Mammography experience or certification required Schedule & Compensation Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem opportunities available Competitive compensation based on experience and credentials Non-exempt position Predictable daytime outpatient schedule No nights, weekends, major holidays, or call Interested in Mammography?
