Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT is needed for a contract opportunity working overnight shifts. This critical role is essential in delivering exceptional patient care through the accurate and timely administration of CT imaging while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and service.
Schedule:
Nights, 36 hours per week Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Requirements:
Current ARRT (CT) certification New York State Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered BLS certification Experience using GE X-ray and Siemens CT and Fluoroscopy equipment Completed Rad Tech education (please specify on resume)
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians, adhering to physician's orders and best practices Apply proper radiation safety procedures for both patients and staff at all times Maintain strict patient and hospital information confidentiality Participate in all Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures for seamless workflow Provide clear patient education and compassionate support during all CT imaging encounters Effectively communicate with referring physicians and radiologist staff to ensure efficient and coordinated care delivery Strictly comply with hospital policies, procedures, and departmental service standards, including incident reporting Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall Radiology department operations This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with advanced imaging equipment and be a vital part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team focused on patient-centered diagnostic care.
