The incumbent will be responsible for performing high-qualityradiographic examinations, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliancewith regulatory and radiation safety standards. Candidates with sonographyexperience will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound examinations and imagingservices to patients as requested by physicians or as allowed by statutoryregulations and according to acceptable standards. To conduct necessary quality assurance testsbefore equipment is used on patients. Ensure accurate patient positioning, imageacquisition, and optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes Prepare and brief patients prior to procedures,addressing any concerns to ensure a positive patient experience Operate X-ray or imaging equipment to capturediagnostic images. Follow radiation safety guidelines to protectpatients and staff. Manage and update patient imaging records usingRIS/PACS and Clinic Management Systems Capture and analyze images, ensuring clarity andaccuracy. Support clinic operations, including patientscheduling, coordination, and workflow optimization Ensure compliance with MOH regulations,infection control protocols, and clinical governance standards Perform quality control procedures to ensurethat the ultrasound equipment operates at optimal levels Maintain imaging equipment, perform routinequality assurance checks, and report faults promptly
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or MedicalImaging Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)or eligible for registration in Singapore Valid licence/certification in radiation safety as requiredby Singapore regulatory authorities Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience preferred,ideally in a clinic or medical centre setting Proficient in operating radiographic equipment independently Familiarity with
RIS/PACS
systems and clinic managementsoftware Good interpersonal and communication skills with apatient-centric approach Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strongattention to detail Added Advantage Experience or certification in sonography (ultrasoundimaging) will be an added advantage Experience in GP clinics, medical centres, or outpatientdiagnostic settings Strong teamwork and coordination skills Professional, responsible, and service-oriented mindset
