Key Qualifications:
Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). Active MRI-specific credentials and appropriate state licensure. Proven experience with advanced MRI procedures and protocols. Thorough understanding of MRI safety for both patients and staff. Ability to operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist and reassure patients. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and record-keeping.

Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines. Conduct a variety of MRI scans as ordered by physicians, following standardized protocols. Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after imaging procedures. Coordinate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of results. Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment regularly, documenting required maintenance. Adhere strictly to confidential patient information policies and documentation standards. Assist in managing imaging workflow and support colleagues as needed.
