Per HR Description:

This position requires a skilled professional to perform radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. The role involves ensuring optimal diagnostic quality and patient care using efficient and safe processes. Travel between Newburgh and Carmel, NY is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and providing explanations of treatment. Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques. Maintain the production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.

Requirements:

Knowledge of radiographic examinations and equipment operation. Understanding of radiation safety and protection techniques. Experience with patient transfers and positioning techniques. Ability to travel between Newburgh and Carmel, NY.

Qualifications:

Associate's or bachelor's degree in applied radiologic science or certification from an accredited radiologic technology program. Licensed and Registered in the state of New York. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
