Under the direction of a radiologist, performs radiologic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. EDUCATION

Associates Degree in Applied Science in Radiologic Technology required. Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Training Program in an AMA approved school and successfully meets the requirements for New York State license in Radiologic Technology and meets the requirements for registry by

ARRT. LICENSURE

Current N.Y.S. Radiologic Technologist License to include CE compliance. (48 credits per 4 year licensure cycle). Required Current ARRT Registration to include compliance with CE requirements preferred. Current ARRT Mammography Certification preferred as needed

ABOUT NIAGARA FALLS MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER

Founded in 1895, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) has a long tradition of serving the Niagara community. NFMMC's hospital and primary stroke program are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, and its primary care network is accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Memorial's inpatient services include a cardiac/stroke unit, a medical-surgical unit, an ICU, a Labor and Delivery unit, and an Adult Inpatient Psychiatry unit, the only one of its kind in Niagara County. Memorial serves as a Center for Community Health by operating three primary care centers, a large outpatient adult mental health clinic, a Health Home, and several innovative community-based services.
