Job Description

Category Imaging - PET/CT Job Type Contract Advance your imaging career through a contract opportunity specializing in PET/CT technology. This position offers engagement in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting diagnostic teams with high-quality imaging services.
Position Details:
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with some procedures potentially extending to 4:30 pm
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' PET/CT or CT/PET imaging experience in a clinical setting Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proficiency in performing accurate PET/CT scans following standardized protocols Strong interpersonal and technical skills, with a commitment to patient safety and comfort Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists and clinical staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate PET/CT equipment to collect diagnostic scans for a wide variety of procedures Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and optimal image quality Perform imaging studies in accordance with established clinical protocols and quality standards Monitor patient well-being throughout imaging processes, responding to needs and changes as necessary Accurately document procedures, imaging results, and maintain patient confidentiality Assist with routine equipment maintenance and collaborate with biomedical teams as needed Maintain compliance with safety and accreditation guidelines
