Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a vital imaging role utilizing your expertise as a CT and CT/PET Technologist. As part of a dynamic diagnostic imaging department, you'll collaborate with healthcare professionals to produce high-quality images that directly impact patient care decisions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current ARRT (R) certification with advanced registry in CT preferred or PET/CT experience Valid radiologic technologist license as required by the state Minimum of one year experience in CT and PET/CT imaging Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient safety, and radiation safety procedures Ability to operate CT and PET/CT scanners and related equipment efficiently Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary teamwork Familiarity with electronic medical records and
PACS BLS
(Basic Life Support) certification
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced CT and PET/CT imaging studies following established protocols Prepare and position patients accurately and safely for scans Ensure image quality for physician interpretation, adjusting technical factors as needed Maintain all equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly Educate patients regarding procedures and address any concerns Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records in electronic systems Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal diagnostic outcomes Adhere strictly to infection control, quality standards, and facility protocols This contract opportunity is ideal for imaging professionals who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and care.
