Category Imaging - PET/CT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional skilled in PET/CT technology. This contract role offers a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, delivering advanced imaging services to support patient care. The position requires strong technical abilities in both PET and CT modalities.
Schedule/Hours:
Start as soon as possible 13-week duration Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Some procedures may extend to 4:30 pm
EST Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience performing PET/CT imaging Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Detailed knowledge of PET/CT protocols and safety procedures Proficiency with imaging equipment and software Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform PET/CT diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process Utilize advanced imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images Document and report on imaging findings, maintaining detailed and accurate records Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding imaging results and patient status Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols at all times This position offers a supportive, professional setting where your expertise will make a real difference in patient outcomes.
