$48.90-$73.36/hour Full suite of employee benefits Retirement plan Long-term permanent employment opportunity Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Certificate from an accredited Radiography School or hospital-based Radiography program ARRT-MR certification required upon hire New York State Department of Health Radiology License required upon hire AHA BLS certification required within 90 days IV Certification required within 180 days 1-3 years of MRI experience preferred Key Responsibilities The MRI Technologist will perform routine and specialized MRI examinations while providing safe, professional, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare and properly position patients for MRI examinations Explain procedures and provide patient education Follow MRI protocols, including appropriate documentation and questionnaires Operate, maintain, and care for MRI equipment and accessories Produce high-quality diagnostic images and review scans for completeness Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures as needed Perform quality assurance and equipment calibrations Communicate STAT findings and imaging information appropriately Maintain accurate patient and exam documentation Print patient CDs when requested Maintain cleanliness of MRI areas and report equipment malfunctions Assist with routine office functions when needed Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education Provide coverage at other outpatient locations as needed Work occasional holidays, overtime, or alternate shifts based on operational needs Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a skilled MRI Technologist who demonstrates: Strong MRI technical and patient-care skills Excellent attention to image quality and protocol compliance Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment Ability to work effectively within all MRI safety zones Comfort working with patients across a wide range of ages and clinical conditions Why Consider This Opportunity?
