Job Description
Kettering Health Network seeks an Angio Tech to support interventional and diagnostic angiographic procedures in a faith-based, patient-centered environment. This role performs high-quality imaging, assists physicians during vascular and cardiac interventions, ensures radiation safety, and provides compassionate care before, during, and after procedures. The Angio Tech collaborates closely with nurses, cardiologists, and radiologists, maintains equipment, documents in the EMR, and supports emergency cases. Responsibilities Perform high-quality angiographic and fluoroscopic imaging for vascular and cardiac procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, reporting changes promptly Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies, and perform basic equipment troubleshooting Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EMRCollaborate with nurses, cardiologists, radiologists, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes Participate in on-call or emergent procedures as scheduled Support quality improvement, safety, and compliance initiatives within the department Required Skills Angiographic imaging operation Fluoroscopy safety and radiation protection Patient positioning and assessment Contrast administration support Interventional cardiology procedure support Sterile technique Electronic health record documentation Cardiac monitoring basics Emergency response support Equipment troubleshooting and QA
