1 Description American Traveler is hiring a full-time night shift CT Technologist requiring ARRT(CT) certification and active state licensure. Details Full-time night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Rotating schedule includes every 3rd weekend Diagnostic Imaging department, CT Technologist sub-modality 13-week assignment Requirements Active state license required if applicable Current
BLS/BCLS
certification ARRT(CT) certification required Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school Registered by the ARRT in radiography and CT 2 years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred Must maintain annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and negligible force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move patients Role involves mostly sedentary work with occasional walking or standing Additional Information Perform and document diagnostic CT examinations as ordered by approved healthcare providers Assist physicians with invasive and special CT procedures Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction or per protocol Operate all CT and related equipment, as well as facility-based computer systems Analyze CT examinations and prepare completed studies for radiologist interpretation Safely transport, move, and position patients Perform appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT
